Every year we are enormously appreciative of continued and generous sponsorship support, with some sponsors supporting our event for over 20 years.  We gratefully receive money, raffle prizes, tents, BBQs and a coolroom every year. We would not function without our sponsors; they are integral to our day!
 
Over the years we have adapted and changed how we run the day. We began as a fundraiser for our local school alone. Blackville Public School is a one teacher school, but despite this has always demonstrated high educational standards. Over the years, monies have helped employ an extra staff member for at least one day to separate infants and primary students. More recently musical instruments and a vegetable garden and kitchen area have been developed.

 

In recent years, we have shared the funds raised between the school and a chosen charity, voted upon by our Committee. Ooranga Family Mobile Resource Unit,  Tamworth Family Support Services, The  Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Ronald McDonald House, Eloura (QRHL), Blackville’s St Aidan's Church and Blackville Community Hall have all benefited from funds raised at past events.
 
Continued sponsorship from local business makes the above all possible, and we are always extremely grateful for the support we receive.
